I finally went to the beach after almost a year!
My last beach trip was in June 2016, though I did go to a pool party last December, which was somewhat a bad idea because it was way too cold for swimming
Like I said in my previous post, we left early Wednesday to vacation with my family in Iloilo, my mother’s province. We stayed there for six days but most of it comprised of family gatherings. I will be posting about the beach trip and Visita Iglesia soon though!
Here are the things I got in preparation for the beach trip:
- Coco Cabana rashguard suit – I have a lot of swimsuits but I don’t have any rashguards which is why I decided I needed one. This one is a crop top paired with a high-waist bikini bottom. I wasn’t a big fan of rashguards before but I love it now! Excuse my derp face in the photo as the sunlight blinded me I definitely should’ve worn the next item in this photo.
- Metro Sunnies James sunglasses – These are Ray Ban-inspired but I don’t really care because my mother bought the same thing in brown for almost P9,000 ($181) and I bought my gold one for P285 ($6). I love Metro Sunnies so much, this is the third eye wear I bought from them. The first two are these eyeglasses. I had to buy a second pair of them because Chewie chewed my first pair
- Biore Perfect Milk sunscreen – Cat recommended this to me on my March skincare routine so I decided to try it out. It didn’t make me greasy or oily throughout the day, I love it! Thank you for the rec, Cat
- Go Pro Hero 5 – Buying this was actually my mother’s idea. She’s one of those tourist moms who always likes to take photos everywhere and she only recently discovered Go Pro through a politician She literally didn’t know it existed before she discovered it last month. I just thought she didn’t want to spend that much money for a camera but I was wrong.
Apologies for being gone for more than a week! I brought my laptop with me but didn’t get to use it at all because we were always out with our relatives. I really do hope to finish writing my drafts so I can schedule them. Talk to you guys soon
