(I’ve been really sick for the past week which is why I’m only writing this now, forgive me.)

In high school, we had a “birthday bash” every February because there are nine of us who turn a year older during the month. Six of us celebrate it right after the other, starting February 14th.

I told the boyfriend that we didn’t have to celebrate Valentine’s and my birthday separately but we still did because we have no self-discipline re: money lmao.

On Valentine’s, we went to our favorite Italian restaurant that makes the best bread sticks and got full on bolognese, chicken, and of course, pizza.

The next day we went to a Korean BBQ restaurant because I binge-watched Weightlifting Fairy last month and wanted to try something new–we’ve always gone for international and Japanese buffet during celebrations.

Birthday lunch at KPub BBQ Restaurant.

The place was also a buffet resto and it was a good thing that the servers gave us suggestions as to what to order first because I know nothing when it comes to Korean cuisine, only bibimbap. I ended up loving their steamed egg, Korean bacon and chicken.

Afterwards, we went to a cafe where an Akita Inu resides. Her name is Akatsuki and the boyfriend fell in love with her long legs. (If you haven’t noticed yet by the amount of dogs we have, we’re a bit of a dog-loving couple.)

He ordered a Mocha frappe while I tried the cotton candy one while watching Mob Psycho. We were waiting for my family to arrive in the area to eat at another restaurant. Their tuna mayo onigiri was delish!

Lastly, my family and I ate at a quaint and homey resto where they serve a hamburger the size of a cake and a chocolate shake meant for baby giants.

Gigantic milkshake. That’s my younger brother’s upper body for reference.

That’s it for my birthday resto hopping. Where did you celebrate your previous birthday or where do you plan to celebrate it this year? :)

  1. I recently finished watching ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo’. Better late than never and my Thesis partner and I couldn’t stop watching it and we’re both happy with the ending. Ah, the kilig! <3 Anyway, happy belated birthday and happy belated V-day. :)
